The Atlanta Artists Center announces a call to artists for its annual national show, August 29 - September 29, 2009 at The Grandview Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia. $1750 cash prizes; numerous sponsor awards. Juror: Annette Cone-Skelton, President and Co-founder of MOCA (The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia). Artists must be 18 years old living in the United States. All mediums accepted. $35 non-members of the AAC; $30 members. Deadline: June 1, 2009.

APW Gallery in Long Island City, NY is currently taking submissions for its upcoming project New York City: Art Book Project. The works are meant to reflect anything related to NYC. All artists are welcome to submit 5 images, one of which will be guaranteed a spot in our NYC Art Book. After the book is completed it will be available for purchase at our gallery and on our online store.
